This is my daily driver, I just want to have fun with it, not another project car lol. This is starting to cost a pretty penny lol. Hell for like 13-15k, I could find a nice 300z TT, or WRX. Fets ive been off this forum for about 3 months U still havnt goten a new car?
Haven't found any good deals on anything. The guy I was suppose to buy the mach off of isnt selling it no more, and theres hardly any STis for sale, either :(

as much as I liked my wifes RX8 ( yes its a far cry from a RX7 ) but that thing was sweet. It was a great ride, smooth acceleration and the trans was as smooth as silk. I would still rather have a fox with a 4 valve swap in it over either of those other rides.

You can use a Grand National for a daily driver, they only had a 3.8L V-6.

This car is for a DAILY DRIVER. Not a goddamn race car lol
this is the wrong forum to talk about imports. its like being in honda tech and talking about getting a mustand or camaro. whats wrong with a mustang daily driver???? a 300zx is not that practical if u ask me :dunno: buy a new toyota camry now thats a practical daily driver otherwise , a stang, sti and or a 300zx is still a sports car. a 300zx , STIs, and evos get around the same gas mileage a stang gets, and when they break down theyre parts are way more expensive. want a good daily driver???!!!! buy a camry, corolla, sonata, u know the really gay cars.ur logic doesnt make too much sense to me. to each their own though :dunno:

Hey man, don't let them give you SH*T, the 300ZX and the RX-7 are both terrible daily drivers, the Z has less fuel mileage than our Mustangs, and it requires premium all the time. The RX, as much as I have loved all of my rotary cars, is not reliable to save your life, and you'll be tempted to spend money on it almost immediately. I suggest an older body Supra, as the 7MGTE is nearly bulletproof, and reliable as anything, not to mention, it gets the best gas mileage of most turbo v6 cars out there for its year (seeing as it's an I6, i has better torque too). I actually suggest something like a Porsche 944, they're cheap, they're reasonably quick, even without a turbo, and they handle like OMFG from the factory, not to mention they're relatively cheap to fix. A 240SX is another great DD. I had one for 3 years, built the hell out of it, but it was fun in stock trim too. Those are my suggestions.

Do what i am doing, buy a 4banger fox (a vert if you want to have fun), swap a turbocoupe motor in and enjoy power on demand and fuel economy. Plus you can pick up a 4 banger for cheap, I got mine for $350. In otherwords, you can spend 8k on a 300zx, rx7, blah, blah, blah, or spend 3k and have a nice, quick, fun fox. Or just go get an impala ss for 8-13k if you need luggage space.

I dont care about gas mileage. I just want something thats funnier to drive then my mustang. Its all over the road, suspension is beat, and is a slow turd, plus its an auto. I'd love to have a cobra of any year, but I can't find deals on them around here. I was looking into SRT4s but their kinda lot of money?

Damn dude... you're complaining about having an auto and I am looking for an auto LOL. You can fix your suspension cheap by getting used parts. It wouldn't take a lot of money to get your quicker. You keep talking about getting this car or getting that car, put the money you would spend on the other into your car you'd have a badass car.
