All throttle... No bottle!!!

Ok, I`ve tried everything I can think of. But I can`t seem to get the color of the trunk lid to come back to it`s original color like the bumper. Any ideas, or is the color just fading, and the only hope is repaint. dontknow

Need pics... sounds like its just oxidation which can be fixed with a good polish or light compound... maybe even a good all in one wax...

I am so sick of all of this self help, twelve step, leftover hippie generation bullshit! Now they don't want you to do anything, right? Just sit there. Don't drink. Don't smoke. Don't drive fast. Kiss my a*s! F*ck it! Do it all I say!  Do you think Duke Wayne spent all of his time talking about his feelings with a f*ckin' therapist? There's no f*cking way he did! John Wayne died with five pounds of undigested red meat in his a*s. Now that's a man! Real men hide their feelings. Why? Because it's none of your f*ckin' business! Men do not cry. Men do... not pout. Men jack you in the f*ckin' jaw and say...Thanks for comin' out.

I dont think you are going to get it back to the color it was because the sun fades the pigment in the paint that is what gives it that pink look my car was the same color and did the same thing so I had to repaint mine.

Its never gonna match perfect... Thats normal on mustangs, not sure why... I think it may have something to do with one surface being metal the other polyurethane...

My laser red paint is almost pink in some spots... I tried compounding/polishing the isht out of it with a conjunction of clay and heavy foam cutting pads...

Nothing....

I think this Laser Red Tri Coat paint is just prone to fading over time...

I'm still gonna try to see if I can get a little color back this summer, when I get a new arsenal of wool pads and polishing products...
