That Snickers ad with Mr T has just been banned here, the Gay community in the US [even though its not shown there] complained that as Mr T made the guy out to be "not a real man" etc, they pulled the plug on it.
One gay rights leader here said to ban it was ridiculous, as it just makes gays look homophobic, funnily enough the company that made the advert were also in trouble for having 2 men kissing in a totally different ad, that was removed pronto.

One thing that's always tripped me out about the UK is how quickly they can censor thing's, that sucks.

Well thats true, but this time it was'nt because of us, the adverts been running for ages. 
Get used to it though, political correctness is at an all time high here, just wait till you experience the joy. [not].

In the States, we tend to think of you guy's as just like us, but you don't know how to spell or talk correctly :hammer: seriously, we do think you and Canada are very similar to us, most people here don't know the government can just tell the paper's there no, and that's that.

But even in the states, morality and outrage work quite well as censors for us.

Most of us are more like you [and vice versa] than is immediately obvious.   
Joining Europe has'nt helped us in any way i can see, the UK has become a rough place to live in certain parts, and this government seems to be powerless to pass any laws to protect us from the lunatics.
We pay more for petrol and almost any other goods you care to mention in europe [the world maybe] and yet we have to put up with crap from teenagers your not even allowed to say boo to in case YOU get arrested.
Some guy who got a life for shooting a policeman in cold blood has just had his sentence cut under appeal? Wtf is that about?
Atm criminals have the law on their side, and yet you get people more worried about Mr T hinting some guy might or might not be gay, ffs its a joke at the end of the day.
