if i were to spend it on HCI it wuld be trickflow track heat kit and a ffrp F-cam! buddy of mine made 350 rwhp and 350 rwtq off same combo! otherwise novi 2000 supercharger and be done!

That seems to be quite a stretch. That kit is good for close to 300 and just swapping out to an F cam wont gain you another additional 50 HP to the wheels

Same here. Not on a 302, not goign to happen. yes there are "factory Freaks" out there but nothing that will add on 50 extra HP to the rear wheels

so i asked the tech guy at trickflow and he said the intake and heads are carb legal but the cam is not. my only concern is that would my car still pass the smog test with this mild cam. i mean there is no way that they could visually tell i have a cam

You should be fine...the e cam passes smog and the tfs stage 1 profile is really not that much different.

Ya I'm sorry but there is no way in hell. He must be inflating those numbers. Maybe he meant flywheel... but most of the trickflow kits hit around 290hp.

if it was me i'd find a deal on some twedge heads, a cobra intake, and save the rest for a s-strim the stock cam will be fine and you will easily reach your goal with the option to go a lot further.... or just go right for the s-trim. a kb is gonna kick the sh*t out of your trainy and drive train and your gonna have know money. do it right the first time

ok so i am still waiting on my trickflow kit to get here but i am trying to think of anything else i should replace while i have the motor apart. i was going to change the thermostat, hoses, any broken or old vac lines, pcv and i was think of getting a mishimoto radiator from americanmuscle. is there anything else that you guys can think of to replace or and tips you can offer?

If your car ran fine with the old sensors, no need to replace them.  They ain't cheap.

The mishimoto is a great radiator and made a vast improvement on my car BUT it won't hold up to ANY abuse... so be ultra careful with it.  (I.E. mine cracked at the seal on the tank and is useless and I wasn't pulling that hard on the hose.)
