I just lefted an empty parking lot trying figure out how to do a burnout in a 5 speed I've tired without asking but i see i need to ask before i mess something up lol.
I've tried holding the clutch, rev'in it, let go of clutch and hit the brake and that didnt work so pretty so how do i suppose to do a burnout in a manual?????

you have to rev it above 3k rpm, dump the clutch and floor the gas while jumping on the breaks (careful not to hit the clutch pedal) ..............thats how you can do it if u dont do the heal toe(kinda challengingc to some ppl including me)
but the key is 3K RPM'S OR HIGHER

You don't need to heel-toe. Just rev the motor up a bit, let the clutch out quickly, then put your left foot on the brake whilst doing your burnout. Once you're satisfied with the duration of the burnout, relase the brake and press the clutch, then use your right foot to hit the brake again and come to a stop.
...it just takes a little practice. Super easy.

2nd gear works well if your car has the a*s to get them spinning, speed is the key to lots of smoke, not rpm

No i dont know how to heel-toe i've only had the 5 speed for about a week or two so everything about the manual trans is new to me but i do know its 10x better than driving a auto. you have to rev it above 3k rpm, dump the clutch and floor the gas while jumping on the breaks
This is what i did or maybe i forgot to floor it all the way. I got up at like 1am trying do a burnout lol

Just drive your car and not break it during the 2nd week. No reason to show off to buddies if you are when you learn how to do a burnout.

no excuses with the big loose sneakers. i wear a size 13 and don't like to tie my sneakers and i can 5 step it. it's what a heel toe is called around here. don't ask me why.
you point the toes of your right foot to the right. heel on brake, and use the rest of your foot to press the gas. once it screaming dump the clutch, make sure you have enough pressure on the brakes, and your keeping the go pedal down. enjoy the smoke.

I usually start in 2nd. This one was 1st which you can see is mega short and not very smoky. you can see 2nd gets em going pretty good, I got into 3rd but it's hard to hear the shift b/c I blew the rear tires out at pretty much the same time. I hate hearing the motor bog down so I like my rpms up. I like to ride them out for awhile too.

Human version of my car...^^^

First of all, if you have the money to waste tires... go for it. If you don't, don't do something so stupid as to waste tires you can't afford to replace. Now... if you can afford to burn off the bucks. Just rev up high, dump the clutch while going for the brake but the key is, don't stomp the brake, only press it hard enough to hold you in place. When you are done burning off money for laughs and giggles, let off the brake and get out of the throttle... Make sure you have video for your money spent...

Has anyone explained the heel toe to this guy.....
IMO heel toe is the only way to do it...i think its bush league to dump the clutch and hit the brake...
practice by keeping your clutch foot with clutch down. with your gas foot hold your heel on the brake pretty hard. then with the top of your gas foot, "toe" work the gas. practice with your clutch in so you can start feeling comfortable feathering the gas. I had to pratice it a few times...
heel toe makes it easier to shift into second for a better track burnout , or wasting your tires....whatever you want to burnout for

Dumping the clutch is kinda hard on the drivetrain. If your going to do a burnout then you need to practive the heel/toe. you can still get the tires good and hot without the shock to the clutch, trans, d.s. rearend, etc.

sanchezcruz explained it pretty well. right heel on the brake and right toe on the gas. left foot on the gas. your just on the brake light enough to hold the car in place (not standing on it). try just starting off in 2nd till you get comfortable. then try shifting it that way. last time i did that I had boots on and the brake pedal was falling right where the heel begins.

I was pretty sure that heel-toe was pressing the brake with your toes then rotating your ankle right and blipping or depressing the throttle with your heel. I do a burnout using the heel-toe technique but I hold the brake with the ball of my foot under my big toe and lean the right side of the same foot (the part under my pinkie toe) over to the gas pedal and then release the clutch.
