well, i thought i'd let you all in on my plans for the car, as well as what its currently doing.

this isnt going to be an elaborate build thread with engine internals being changed and rear ends being rebuilt, its just going to let you all know what im doing, and planning on doing to it.

to start, i got the car august 1st, 2009. i picked it up for 4000 cash, with the clutch needing replacement.

this was my first stick shift car, so my dad taught me how to drive it after it was tagged and titled, august 7th.

(longest week of my life).....

the next day, i was driving with my friend, as i picked up manual very quickly and i heard a massive "SSSSCCCRRREEEEEEEEEEAAAAAACCCCCCHHHHHH" everytime the clutch was pushed in. i pulled over to the side of the road and ooooooooooohhhh **** ran through my mind.

turned out it was just the throwout bearing. we got the clutch replaced august 11'th.

the car was basically all ready to go at this point.no other work needed done besides brakes, which i still havent gotten around to.

i dont have any pictures of it at this point because i got a new computer.

it had rivited saleen replicas, 18x10, ricer taillights, and severly damaged front headlights.

this picture is just after i installed off road h and flowmasters, as well as new front lights.

and old picture of the saleen rims and ghey headlights

the car looked pretty good and sounded awesome at this point, but i had to get rid of the rims, they rubbed in the front and were kinda lame, lol. went back to stockers.

then i had about 20 people tellings me to scrap the ricer taillights, so i did. to this day, one of the best $200 ive ever spent.

then i got a full interior cleaning kit and went over the whole interior. to be honest, ive never seen a used car with such a good looking interior.

i ended up getting a cheapo cold air intake for $60 shipped, so i said wth and bought it. this is a shot of the engine before washing, about 15 days after i got it.

i went for about 3 months working and saving money, to buy new rims and tires. you all have seen these as i have 2 threads on them lol.

17x9 front 17x10.5 rear with sumitomo htr-z tires all around.

and thats where i am today. broke and $1900 into a project that never seems to be fixed ans always has a ratlle!

alright, im coming upon a small amount of money soon since payday is coming up.. ive got a few questions to ask all of you.

my mods are in my sig, not alot but still tasteful. i will have nearly $500 to spend this friday.

i could do 1 of about 5 things.

--- 3.73 gears in the rear end.

--- some dyno time and a good tune.

--- new CAI, msd ignition system.

--- nice brake rotors and painted calipers.

--- save the money, buy a pi swap.

please, drop me a comment telling me what you would like to see done to the car! im open for anything not on the list, just let me know!

Pi swap, if your intake is good and its workign fine, so dont worry. Gears, eh decide what you want with the car ie track or just a street car. New intake, dont bother. Brakes, if you need them get on it. MSD ignition, JUNK on our cars.... just keep your stock stuff, thats what i use and i make over 100hp more then ya lol

good mod too, less complicated... i think if i had to burden myself with another npi 2v i'd prolly pi cam/intake swap and a big ol' bottle of NNNNNNAAAAWWWSSSSS so that when someone challenged me and my 315 wearing ride i could hang
