I have the 10.5 inch cobra wheels I bought off of ebay with +27 mm backspacing. I put 275 40 17 BFG G force kdw tires on them and they look amazing. I don't think they are too narrow, but maybe the bfg tire runs wide in that size. the only fitment issues I had were the parking brake cable brackets had to be beat down and I removed the quad shocks which were blown anyway.

I just put in 17x9 in front 255, and 17x10.5 315/35. No problem in fitment. Took out quad shock.

I have a set of 315/35's and 11" wheels on order. I would rather keep the quads on rather than remove them. What exactly is meant by "flipping" them. I have looked at them and am not sure what this would involve. Thanks for any advice.

You mean giving them a 180 degree "flip"?

Sounds easy. Even with the flip, it's going to be close as there's only about an inch of clearance now with the 245's. I'll reverse the quads when the wheels get here and see how it goes. I may end up just taking them out. Thanks for the information.
