Congrats to Josh and his Cobra with termy swap
Thanks for everyone who voted! Good battle bottlefed. My name is Josh and my ride is a 98 Cobra. I bought the car bone stock off craigslist from my high school english teacher. I didn't even know it was him till I went to go pick it up. I used to park my 2000 GT next to it and talk to him about how awesome it was. He dropped a 1k off for me because he knew it was going to a good owner. Bought it at 82k miles. Ended up spinning a rod bearing at 94k. Went back and forth between selling it or build and boost it and saw a guy on SVTP doing an 03 swap into an sn95 and I knew it's what I had to do. Bought the motor of SVTP from a wrecked 10 annv car and most of the items needed and got to work. Took about 4 months of work with a couple friends to get the swap done. I about lit the car on fire multiple times. I really wanted a stealth look. After all the work and tune the car puts down about 460hp / 450lb ft. It's a blast to drive and it's fun to see peoples faces after the wine. I learned a lot and will have no problem trying to help out as best I can if others want to do this swap as well. Thanks again!
