SN95 Terminator bumper thread

Thought I would start one with all the SN95s that I have seen with 03 - 04 cobra bumpers. I no longer have it on my car but some have been asking to see painted bumpers. The biggest issue with the bumper is that it sits low and on most of these SN95s car is not lowered and there is no front mount intercooler so looks weird. I like the two tone stang the most.

think the two tone car, white car and your car looked the best with it. SOme of the others with stock hoods are ok though. Your hood made it look alot better. It doesnt look good with the stock hood. It doesnt flow into the bumper very well.

The cars without the gaps below the headlights look good. Its all in how much time you spend working on the details of the fit... I personally would use a 1 piece headlight, and a Mach 1 shaker with a Cobra R hood. That would make the bumper blend in much better.- IMHO

Then with a SVT cooler behind the lower opening would make it sick.

It looks "weird" because it doesnt fit.

Stock 94-98 Cobra front bumper is the best looking piece Ford has come out with on any mustang. They got it right the first time.

Awe...my old sixxer...never did finish off the looks with this one. Oh well...gone but not forgotten.

**PS....that bumper was a PAIN IN THE *SS to make it fit flush. I was probably one of the first that got it once ABC finished the mold for it. Hope they fixed it over time. That bumpe warped on on both sides.

I just went through this, and noticed an old picture of my car too....

This is a photoshopped pic. MANY years ago (2004), before ABC had introducted the bumper, a few of us on stangnet decided that it might be neat to ask a company to make the 03 Cobra bumper for our cars. To get an idea, a few photoshops were done up....one of mine, and the one below my pictures is also a photoshop. We sent the pics to the guys at ABC Exclusive and.....whammo....they built it, and it because a huge unsuccess. Ah well, live and learn!

I agree. I have both models and wouldn't put the termi bumper on the 97. That's just me though.

It would look much better if it matched up to the fenders better. It sticks out too much just below the front of the fenders... otherwise I think it looks pretty good.
