Im planning on using the BBK UCA/LCA kit.

Will I beable to remove the damper shocks or should I replace them ?
I do plan on 17x10.5 rims in the back in the future and I heard they rub.

Thanks..... Outlaw

Yes you can ditch the quads/damper shocks. you won't need them with the after market control arms

The second part of this statement is too true.

Lakewood LCA'S < enough said :) , for the UCA; if you have to replace them then just get stock OEM ones or just use the ones you have if they are good and just replace the bushings

Hey Outlaw, read the last part of the sticky in this forum...

you'll really get the best performance from the MM lowers, their arms are solid and bushings are far better.
and yes keep the stock uppers. they're soft/sloppy for a reason.

Wider tires, lowered, subs and LCA's and your pretty much set for agressive street driving.
I believe stang suspension has the MM pieces for a discounted price.

I havent bought anything yet, researching first..

Thanks Dalamar , you always have good advice and I trust your Stang info...

Looks like I'll be going with the MM LCA and keep the stock UCA.

This is what Im planning so far....
MM LCA
FRPP B springs
New front LCA with stiiffer bushing and low friction ball joints
Struts/shocks
SFC....not sure what brand yet
Swaybar links/bushing front & rear
Outer tie rods

I trying to stay under/at a grand to do this. But I want to get the best parts I can.

as for Front Control arm, go with 03/04 Cobra/FRPP Arms.... they are the best bang for the buck and actually allow you to do a u-turn.

SFC's..... Go with MM, they are the best and stiffer than the competition

Tie-rods...... Get a Bump-Steer Kit... steeda, UPR and MM all make one that replaces the Tierod and removes bump steer

Hope that helps :thumb:

this is the steeda bumpsteer:
the blue piece and the washers to the right.
notice how my steering arm is paralell to the A-arm --- hince, no bumpsteer :)

I also really like my MM subframes, they were like $125.00 when I bought them...

Well looks like Im not going to have enough cash to do the suspension right now. Going to have to wait till early summer to do it all. I want to be able to do it all with the right parts. Had to do my wifes SHO 1st and I spent more on that then planned..... :\

So instead Im going to just do the PI intake ( Livernois ) and PI cams now.

Thanks for all the info it helps alot...

BTW what is the difference on the bumpsteer, is it tighter or what ?

What is wrong with buying upper control arms? Why is better to keep stock ones?

because with a 4 link set up Poly bushings are too stuff for the uppers and doesn't allow proper articulation. Aftermarket UCA also Bind under intense articulation. You need stock rubber to have the suspension move properly.
