Hi All,
A fellow member of the NorCal Shelby Club, a professional car and engine builder, just sent out an email to the club that an engine he built for one of his customers is for sale since his customer passed away unexpectedly.
This is an all new engine built on an aluminum block and has all the best internals including shaft mounted rockers. This 351W is 445CID with 660HP and 600 lb-ft of torque all motor and weighs less than 400lbs. It is truly a beast!. It appears to be complete minus a flywheel and accessories. Included is a rear sump oil pan, Super Victor intake and 4150 carb, as well as an electric water pump, front damper and distributor.
This is no crate motor and is not cheap (probably $25K+), but IMHO is a fantastic deal as he just wants to recoup what he has in it for the parts. If I hadn't just completed my new motor I probably would have taken him up on this. Build sheet and dyno results are available
on request.
