Wait a minute. Hold the phone! I “should” still have the rear floor mats, which are basically pointless because of the RSD conversion.

That set will give me at least 4 tries to get it right.

So just to confirm how to fix:
1. Cut out a piece big enough to cover the hole in the carpet + an 1” or a tad more on each side for better adhesion.

2. Spray the adhesive on the underside of the carpet (not the swatch) and situate the swatch fuzzy side up to cover the hole.

3. The key question: use same adhesive to glue to hook to the hole repair? Or ???

1. I'd cut it a few inches larger than the hole you need to repair

2. Spray the glue on both surfaces, wait a few minutes, then adhere them together.

3. Mount the clip as it is supposed to be mounted, dont glue it.

ask for unbacked carpet. It does not have the hard back on the back that will make it stick up and stand out.
