Had to make up a new lower radiator hose. The Ess kit uses a 90° thermostat housing, so the old hose wouldn’t work. Used a barb and some gates powergrip hose clamps.
Also got the fuel pressure regulator installed. I’m moving from the deadhead setup I had to a regulated return setup and this was the best place for the regulator.

Also had to move the coolant bottle to make room for the charge pipe. So I got an On3 coolant reservoir and made up a bracket to mount it over on the fender.

Tried out my new titanium welder. Just putting flux core wire through it, but it does alright. This is pretty much the first time I’ve used this one, and it feeds a little different than I’m used to. It welds ok though. I don’t think it came out too bad for flux core, sticking some stainless to some crusty mild steel.

Coolant system plumbed back in, and reservoir mounted. Started working on boost pipes. I’m going to bead roll the ends and use a coupler. Initially I was going to get them welded up, but I’m going to couple them to allow some flex.

Spent some much needed time on the car. I stitched up both of the replacement s197 seats, and put a new lower cushion on the driver seat. Oddly enough, I don’t have any pictures of the stitching.

Then today I got the entire fuel system built and installed. New tank in, and all the lines built.

Got the new battery mount installed, and got the fuel pump controller mounted.

Then got all the octopus fuel lines in the engine bay put together. At this point, I can put gas in it and fire it up.

I have to put the charge pipes together, and mount the transmission cooler. We might actually be able to drive it this week.

Getting closer and closer. Got all the charge pipes fitted up. Going to bead roll them tomorrow and then they are finished.

Got some beads rolled on the pipes. Looks like the cheapo Chinese bead roller did a pretty good job.

I was with you on the sound for the most part, but I have heard some that sounded really good. Once you get away from the Roush that everyone seems to run, you can make them sound pretty good. And, I imagine it's hard not to grin every time you spin it to 7k+!

Got a new rear head rest that didn’t have any broken tabs!

And ordered a new radio for it, with new door speakers.

So today I installed the radio, door speakers, and the export mirrors I’ve been sitting on for over a year.
