Come on man! Where is our updates? I want to know what happened!

J_Sty_ Where you been? Whats the deal?

Car is still torn apart and I haven't touched it in a few weeks because I've had a lot going on. I did however find what was locking it up, one of the main crank bearings.

Thats a real pisser! Looks like you got a nice groove cut into the crank as well. So I take it you are pulling it for an ovehaul or you putting some new bearings in there and running it till it dies?

Not sure just yet, I'd love to put something even better in it while it's torn down this far but at the same time my wallet is saying slap some bearings in it and start saving lol

Why not try some bearings first. Polish the crank with some real high grit paper and set some new bearings in there. Then build what you want and baby the car around in the process. Was it running good, just making noise?

Update!
Soooo this morning my girl says to me "Why don't you just take your time and build it like you really want it?" I don't think she has any idea what that means lol so with that being said it looks like I'll be taking my time and doing more than just shoving a junkyard motor in it to get it going again. Not sure what all is going to happen yet so stay tuned...

Last night I bolted the kmember back in and today I'll finish up the steering rack, brakes, wheels and it'll be able to roll around. Before too long it will be going to a buddies paint & body shop for some engine bay work.

Side note- I'm looking for a tubular K member.
Also might start selling stuff off of the old motor soon.
