Cat delete and smell.

I hear people talking about a cat delete and the exhaust stinking. Are you all referring to the type of smell an old muscle car has going down the street, or is this some kind of smell I am not familiar with? I so love the smell of those old cars with no cats

Unless the motor is hurt or the tune is way off, I kind of prefer the no-cat fumes. I'm sure the effect on health is not good but unless you're huffing on the tailpipe ass-to-mouth style I think it's probably no big deal.

it is just a stronger exhaust smell. For me with the side exhaust if there was some wind blowing on the side there were times at a stop light when it just felt like I had a hose going straight into the window but if it was rear exhaust I am sure I would not notice.
