1st time with this car at the track.
Not very good launches (best was in the 1.80's) but did run 6.80's in 1/8th at 108 and 10.40's in 1/4 @ 138.
Shredded a belt at 1,000 foot on the last pass and destroyed my upper pulley.

Super impressive for the 1.80 60ft and pulley coming apart . 9’s and 140plus mph is in the future . Great content as always

Latest track outing, not without issues.
But luckily it is an easy fix. Another track outing planned very soon!

Interesting enough, I found this after I unloaded the car and got it on my lift.
That might affect the launch a little. LOL.

Update for the Mach1.
Took the T56 Magnum, RXT clutch, and driveshaft out and sold them to a local Terminator owner.

I have a bunch of leftover parts from a few years ago when I put a 6R80 in this car.
I decided to go back to the 6R80 and this time maybe it will be a better result.

I got a stock 04 shifter and bezel (the color doesn't match so I will paint it).
I had a Stiffler's crossmember, flexplate, and engine plate already.
I have found/purchased a 2014 6R80 with stock converter out of a Navigator.
I have purchased the Power by Hour transmission fittings, shifter lever, and stop bracket (prevents pulling shifter to 1).

I spent yesterday fitting the shifter as it is NOT a direct fit into a manual car.
But with a saw and drill, I got it done and it fits great (must install from bottom by the way).

Will hope to post updates soon once I receive my other parts.
Main reason to switch - I wanted to go faster and consistently at the race track.
I really liked this swap years ago, but never raced it because the Circle D converter was dragging the car down at idle and making it cut off (it was a 5 clutch deal out of my TTSaleen).

Follow along as I list my adventure to redo this swap.

Very cool! What’s your plan for controlling it? I remember you having troubles with the quick 6, are you going to try that again or are you going to wire up the engine and trans to run on a factory coyote computer?

It may not hold much water, but in my opinion, I think using a coyote computer would be better but it’s a lot more work.
