Tremec Tranny What do I have?

I searched around and found some info at american muscle but their info was not what my door jam label contained. I found the the area on the label that listed TR but only found one letter G. According to AM, I should have found like a 5 letter/number digit there but only found the letter G. Basically I am putting a 4.3 Stroker into my 2003 V6 and adding a Procharger. I have heard that my tranny (whatever it is) will stand up to about 300 HP. I am shooting for around 450. So with the code G under TR, what tranny do I have and what kind of HP will it hold?

do you have an auto or manual transmission?

If you have a manual, it should be a T5 transmission. If its an auto it should be a 4R70W *trashmission*

You could always call tremec and give them the tag digits
