You might get better milage leaving it the way it is . Depends where the truck makes peak torque. My old f150 had 3.31 I hated them too but had 34” tires

Nice. Wondering how this is going to look once installed. Does it swap right into the place of the stock one?

Just have to drill out the rivit that holds the base to the door. Cut the pin that holds the handle to the base. Install new pin in the billet handle and reattach to the door.
Ill throw a door panel on tomorrow and take a pic for ya. Here it is installed with no door panel.

According to the gear calculator if I put 3.73 gears I should be back close to stock RPMs at 70 mph. Just a tad more RPMs like 55 rpms more with the 3.73s and these new tires. These new tires measure at 33”. I also have it “tuned” for better fuel mileage. I’ll take anything to help me not spend unnecessary money. I don’t like that.

Oh thanks, now I see. For some reason I was thinking it is bigger and it's meant to replace the door cup, but for that it would have a strange shape :⁠-⁠D #facepalm

I will need a controller and I do recall him working on one but haven’t followed that thread in a while. I’ll read up on this.

Look at that gap! How many miles are on that thing? My 07 mustang looked the same, it had almost 200k miles on the plugs.

~145K yeah them coils were struggling to jump that gap.
