Cut new cables for the lithium starting battery, protected them pretty well, and it's all hooked up. Even got a little SAE charge port down low for when hood is closed. Think I'll do another SAE charge port inside the engine bay too. The photo angles are a bit deceiving, the control arm looks close to the cable but it clears nicely.

The levels that you've taken this car always impresses me.

Why thank you.

I go back in to finish some more car surgery (the diff and the diff cooling circuit) tomorrow. I hope to finally get this thing back to road duty end of this week, or maybe I won't because I gotta put in some big work for a couple weeks but thereafter I'm largely back to the car grind again. We'll see.

She's coming together y'all. I would have finished today, but people wouldn't leave me TF alone. Tomorrow it'll be completely assembled.

Indexed my QuickTime bellhousing stabbed the tkx back in and put the car back together . Just need to fill the trans up still . I slide out from under the car and my stifflers drive shaft loop was on the table fml . Had to undo the trans mount and jack the trans up and slide it up and in the my 3 x pipe made it a bit of a chore glad those loops come apart .

Been working on drawing up a new control arm mount deal for the WJ.

This long arm kit has the upper link on the driver side but the previous owner and builder wanted it on the passenger side for a whole lot of clearance reasons and didn’t do the best job putting it together. It broke once with him and he repaired it and I caught it bent and trying to break again so we are going to scrap it and start fresh so been drawing it up in AutoCAD. It’s hard to get these holes all located correctly so I’ve been 3D printing little guides based on my drawings and comparing as I go to try and get it all dialed in before I send the drawings to Send Cut Send.

Planning some preventative maintenance on my 2012 Ram 1500 5.7 with 188k: ordered new coils and plugs + injector and top end cleaning system. Did same @ 100k and man, that motor was purring! 188k, not a lick of trouble, still runs strong as hell (when I ask it to). Again, just preventative maintenance, but I’ve always been a huge proponent of it.

Beauty-ous! Those are great looking cars and seem a great combo of luxury and performance. What tires and earl did you go with?

Whatever Toyota uses and Bridgestone Potenza S001L tire. It’s a model specific, 280tw “performance tire”. Fortunately, we opted for the wheel/tire coverage and this didn’t cost us a penny.

It's probably Toyota full synthetic. Wife's Lexus (3.5L V6) takes 7 quarts of it.
